Harris Corporation Technology Supports Streaming Video Over Airborne Tactical Network During Demo for Australian Forces

A variety of Harris solutions, including the Adjunct Network Processor (ANP), SeaLancet(TM) tactical radio, Falcon III(R) tactical radio, and FliteScene(TM) software digital map enabled high-bandwidth ad hoc networking among the Chinook, the UAV and multiple dismounted soldiers' kits. The SeaLancet radio served as the airborne network backbone, providing streaming video and digital data among air platforms. The Harris ANP - a real-time processor that provides network connectivity for aircraft - hosted the Boeing-developed System of Systems Common Operating Environment (SOSCOE) and mission management applications.
