SkyWest Airlines Names Bill Mostowy Director - Operations Control Center

ST. GEORGE, Utah, July 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SkyWest Airlines, a subsidiary of SkyWest, Inc. (Nasdaq: SKYW), is pleased to name Bill Mostowy Director - Operations Control Center. Mostowy replaces Michael Mumford, who retired in May. In his new role, Mostowy will oversee all daily operations of the company's Flight Control Center, encompassing more than 1,600 flights per day. His new responsibilities include managing irregular operations, flight planning and regulatory compliance, with an emphasis on safety and economical efficiency. Mostowy will report directly to Klen Brooks, SkyWest's vice president - Flight Operations.

Mostowy began his SkyWest career in 1996 as a dispatcher and most recently held the position of senior shift supervisor - Flight Control. Previously, he spent five years in the U.S. Army/Army National Guard, and holds an associate's degree from Miramar College in San Diego, Calif., and a dispatch license from Sheffield School of Aeronautics. He and his wife, Brandi, reside in Ivins, Utah, with their five children.
