Charles David women’s shoes recalled
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of Charles David women’s shoes due to a fall hazard.
About 3,200 pairs of shoes were imported from Italy, Spain and China by Charles David of Culver City, Calif., and sold at Nordstrom Rack stores nationwide from April 2009 through June 2009 for between $22 and $80.
The heels of the shoes can detach, causing the wearer to fall, the commission said.
The recall involves various colors and styles of Charles by Charles David brand and Charles David of California brand, item numbers #SAMPCHSHOE and #SAMPCDSHOE.
Consumers were advised to stop using the recalled shoes and return them to Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack stores for a full refund.
