Lockheed Martin Unit Achieves CMMI(R) Maturity Level 5

Herndon, Va., July 10 /PRNewswire/ — A Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) business unit has earned a top rating for the quality and maturity of its processes for developing and managing highly-complex technology systems. The company’s Information Systems & Global Services – Intelligence product line achieved a Maturity Level 5 rating during its recent appraisal against the Capability Maturity Model(R) Integration for Development, or CMMI-DEV.

CMMI is managed by the Carnegie Mellon University’s Software Engineering Institute, which is a federally funded research and development center sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense.
