AirTran Airways Announces New Service From Harrisburg, Pa., to Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

ORLANDO, Fla., July 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), today announced nonstop service between Harrisburg International Airport and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Beginning November 5, flights to Fort Lauderdale will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The route will be flown with 117-passenger Boeing 717 aircraft, featuring 100% fresh air, Business Class and Gogo wi-fi service on every aircraft and XM Radio programming at every seat.

*All fares are one-way. Introductory fare is non-refundable, and a $75 fee per person applies to any change made after purchase plus any applicable increase in airfare. Introductory fares must be purchased by August 15, 2009 and travel must be completed by December 15, 2009. Introductory fare is blacked out and not available for travel on November 19, 21, 24, 26, 28, or December 1, 2009. A first bag may be checked for a fee of up to $15 per person and a second bag may be checked for a fee of up to $25 per person. Reservations may be obtained or changed through an AirTran Airways Telephone Reservations Center for an additional $15.00 per person. Fares, routes, and schedules are subject to change without notice. Fares do not include per-segment tax of $3.60. A segment is defined as one takeoff and one landing. The September 11th security fee of up to $10 is not included. Airport Passenger Facility Charges of up to $18 are not included.
