Homex Signs Agreement with INFONAVIT to Expand Electronic File Capture to the State of Mexico

CULIACAN, Mexico, Aug. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Desarrolladora Homex, S.A.B. de C.V. ("Homex" or "the Company") (NYSE: HXM; BMV: HOMEX), a leading home developer in Mexico, today announced the implementation of INFONAVIT's file capture system in the State of Mexico. In July, the Company announced the implementation of the electronic file capture system in the state of Sinaloa, which has already realized process improvements as a result of this system.

The implementation of INFONAVIT'S electronic file capture system at the Company's developments throughout the State of Mexico represents an important step for the Company as this is one of the largest markets where Homex has operations. In addition, through the early implementation of the program, Homex becomes one of the first home developers in the State of Mexico to implement INFONAVIT'S electronic file capture system.

Using INFONAVIT'S webpage directly from Homex' sales offices, the Company will be able to directly upload customers' mortgage files to create a more expedited mortgage authorization process for its clients. The Company will also realize significant process efficiencies including a faster collection process from INFONAVIT.
