Nova Bus sponsors two COMTO scholarships

SAINT-EUSTACHE, QC, Aug. 25 /PRNewswire/ – Nova Bus is pleased to announce its partnership with the Philadelphia chapter of the Conference Of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) in awarding two $2,500 scholarships to deserving students.

COMTO is a nationwide organization dedicated to ensuring maximum participation of minority individuals, businesses and communities in all aspects of the transportation industry. Among its initiatives, it offers scholarships to students pursuing careers in transportation. Its team of industry professionals and academic representatives selected Walter Scott-Williams and Summer Tatum as the recipients of Nova Bus scholarships.

Mr. Scott-Williams is a driven Morehouse College junior majoring in mechanical engineering and plans to attend graduate school. Ms. Tatum has overcome tremendous personal adversity in pursuing her higher education; she is currently a successful sophomore at Camden County College and will transfer to Drexel University in the fall to study computer graphics. Both Mr. Scott-Williams and Ms. Tatum combine high academic performance with significant community involvement.
