NASA awards pressure systems contract

NASA's Glenn Research Center in Cleveland says it has awarded a two-year contract valued at $30 million to Mainthia Technologies Inc.
The space agency said the Cleveland firm will provide on-site services for the certification of pressure vessels and systems, and the operation, maintenance and engineering of cryogenic systems in various locations throughout Glenn and NASA's Plum Brook Station in Sandusky, Ohio.
. MTI also will provide recertification, repairs and periodic in-service inspections and maintain the accuracy of the certification activities database.
The contract begins Oct. 1 and includes three one-year options.
