WASHINGTON, Aug. 31 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- More Americans are expected to take to the roads this upcoming Labor Day holiday weekend than did during this year's Fourth of July holiday timeframe, with 84% traveling by road. This year's Labor Day road trips are projected to be the third-highest of the Labor Day holidays in this decade, AAA reports, although lower than last year when gas prices plummeted from last summer's $4.11 high in July.
