COTTEKILL, N.Y., Sept. 9 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On the anniversary of the 9-11 attacks, Operation Homefront will be working with Wilson Farms to raise money to help support military families in need. On that day, all 190 Wilson Farms store locations across New York will collect donations with 100 percent of the money received going to service members and their families in communities throughout the state through the New York Chapter of Operation Homefront. As part of this effort, customers visiting Wilson Farms from 6 to 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 11th may receive a 12 oz. cup of their favorite coffee or cappuccino for free.
"Needless to say, the New York chapter of Operation Homefront is delighted to work with Wilson Farms to help our troops," said Tracy Handschuh, chapter president. "Given the present economic conditions, requests for help from military families in need are up from last year. We give a warm thanks to customers of Wilson Farms for their generous support and applaud the company for being a positive example for other companies. We are indeed fortunate to have the support of this wonderful organization."
