Hino Trucks Names New Senior Vice President Sales & Customer Support

NOVI, Mich., Sept. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Robert E. McDowell brings more than 30 years of industry experience to Hino Trucks Novi, Michigan - Hino Trucks is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert (Bob) E. McDowell as Senior Vice President, Sales & Customer Support. He succeeds Dominick (Nick) Vermet who will return to a position with a stakeholder of Hino Trucks. Mr. McDowell brings an extensive array of experiences from the industry to his new position, which will become effective September 21st, in which he will be reporting directly to Mr. Sumio Fukaya, President & CEO.

Mr. McDowell brings to Hino Trucks a wealth of knowledge and experience in the medium duty truck market from his previous employment with Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America, Inc., where during his 23 years with the company, progressed through various key field and corporate positions to become President & CEO. Prior employments include IVECO Truck of North America.

As the Senior Vice President of Sales & Customer Support, Mr. McDowell will oversee the company's sales, parts and service efforts in the market to increase the overall presence in the U.S. for Hino Trucks.
