Flux – Equipping Technical Innovation in Device Design
BALLSTON SPA, N.Y., Sept. 11 /PRNewswire/ — Magsoft Corporation announces the release of Flux Version 10.3. Flux tools are Finite Element Method (FEM) based software developed by Cedrat of Grenoble, France. Flux computes physical data for electromagnetic and electromechanical phenomena.
Flux allows one to accomplish design validation by switching away from a reliance on physical prototyping and to develop a new reliance upon virtual prototyping. Users can setup the same experiments and collect the same data for a given design idea. Additional viewing ports into unseen device response can also be used to more thoroughly review behavior.
The core technology of Flux incorporates both java and python programming languages, and this has allowed for a versatile command line control of the software process. With Flux V10.3 this command line control is now available from start to finish throughout the simulation for all 2D and 3D applications.
Clever use of this capability allows one to perform experiments automatically. Users can also create macros for individual tasks which may be used regularly within the simulation process for creating or modifing their constructs.
Users can construct their devices with Flux’s foundational parameter control, and then initiate experiments with one-time value modifications or they can take advantage of the new solution scenario capability; generating a range of values for a given parameter or set of parameters. Furthermore, these scenarios can be created, saved and re-used to insure that desired experiments in the future are reliably carried out for each and every design.
