FGM, Inc. on Winning Team Awarded Department of Defense SOCJFCOM Integration Contract

RESTON, Va. , Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ — FGM, Inc. announced today that it has been awarded a contract to provide analysis and professional services in support of Special Operations Command, U.S. Joint Forces Command (SOCJFCOM). FGM is a member of the Capstone Corporation Team for this effort.

FGM’s chief goal in this contract is to support Special Operations Forces (SOF) joint concept development, experimentation, joint requirements development, and interoperability advancement. With the evolving landscape of the world and changes in threats to the Nation’s security, FGM will be providing the critical linchpin to ensure SOCJFCOM’s ability to adjust to these changes, that efforts are not hindered, and to improve their ability for the integration and interoperability of joint SOF and General Purpose Forces.

The mission of SOCJFCOM is to train conventional and special operations joint force commanders and their staffs in the employment of SOF, focusing on the full integration of SOF and conventional forces in both the planning and execution to enhance warfighting readiness. As USJFCOM continues to spearhead the improvement of the joint combat capability of U.S. military forces worldwide, SOCJFCOM will facilitate this evolution by its focus on joint SOF training and integration that enhances the effectiveness and interoperability of SOF in joint, multinational, and interagency operations.

FGM will be supporting the SOCJFCOM on sight as well as from its local office in Suffolk, VA located at ODU’s Virginia Modeling, Analysis & Simulation Center (VMASC) facility and occupied by FGM’s JFCOM Programs Business Unit.
