Crude oil prices drop Friday

Crude oil prices fell below $66 per barrel Friday with investors concerned about high inventories and slowing demand.
The price of light, sweet crude, which began the week at $71.82 per barrel, lost 19 cents overnight to hit $65.70 per barrel. Heating oil prices lost 0.0072 cents overnight to $1.6742 per gallon. Reformulated gasoline prices fell 0.0206 cents to $1.616 per gallon. Natural gas rose 0.015 cents to $3.97 per million British thermal units.
At the pump, the national average price of unleaded gasoline was $2.525 per gallon Friday, down from Thursday’s $2.534, AAA said.
