American Eagle Airlines Announces Schedules for New Jet Service From Harrisburg, Allentown, and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to Chicago O’Hare

FORT WORTH, Texas, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — American Eagle Airlines, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, begins nonstop jet service with three daily flights between Harrisburg International Airport (MDT) in Harrisburg, Pa., and Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) on April 6, 2010.

Service between Chicago O’Hare and Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) in Allentown, Pa., as well as Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport (AVP) in Avoca, Pa., begins June 10, 2010. Allentown will have three daily flights and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton will have two daily flights.

American Eagle will operate the new service to all three Pennsylvania cities with 50-seat Embraer ERJ-145 jets.
