AMR Research Bolsters Sustainability Practice with New Hire

Hiranya Fernando Background
Hiranya has close to a decade of experience in managing and researching projects related to climate change, clean energy, and carbon markets for major companies. Before AMR Research, Hiranya worked for the World Resources Institute researching clean technologies, such as carbon capture and concentrated solar, and helping large companies form sustainability strategies around energy use, water use, GHG emissions, recycling, and waste management. She also worked for the World Bank’s carbon finance business and a number of other financial institutions.
Hiranya earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the London School of Economics and her MBA from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.
