View Systems Closes Deal With Environmental Systems Products (ESP)

October 15, 2009

BALTIMORE, Oct. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — View Systems, Inc. (OTC: VSYM), a leading homeland defense solutions provider, announced today that the company has received a contract to proceed with work from Environmental Systems Products, the most experienced provider of the world’s most comprehensive spectrum of quality products and solutions for vehicle emissions testing. As the world leader, ESP has operated one of the largest centralized inspection programs in the industry, providing facility staffing, maintenance, lane inspection, equipment systems, data management and more. ESP has the experience and expertise to deliver unequaled technology and service to meet today’s governmental requirements for cleaner air, leading the way to a better future (Source: www.esph.com).

The contract involves installation of networked video surveillance systems at all of Maryland’s 18 Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program (VEIP) locations. Work is expected to begin within the next few weeks.

This order was issued to View shortly after a highly competitive bidding process during which the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) recommended ESP for award of the state’s Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program (VEIP) contract through the year 2014. Since EPA gained this sought-after award, they had the ability to select a contractor to provide the necessary surveillance systems to the VEIP locations which were under their care. After multiple conversations and a demo presentation, they chose View Systems.

Paul Price, Vice President of View’s Network Services Division, states, “We are very proud to have the opportunity to work with ESP, the world’s leading provider of vehicle emissions testing solutions. This contract is one that will be beneficial for both parties.”
