Posted on: Friday, 23 October 2009, 10:00 CDT
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J., Oct. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- The Atlantic City Express Service (ACES), offering the only direct train service between New York City and Atlantic City, continues to spice up train travel with the ACES Pour Tour. Kicking off Oct. 30, passengers on southbound trains leaving New York City's Penn Station at 8:21 p.m. can enjoy unique mixology or brew experiences at a 25-40% savings each Friday between Halloween weekend and Thanksgiving.
"Traveling should be part of the vacation, not just a means to reach your destination," said Jennifer Weissman, Regional Vice President of Marketing for Harrah's Entertainment. "The ACES Pour Tour is a unique way in which we can offer riders an experience unlike any other while traveling between New York and Atlantic City this fall."
Each Friday evening train (#7165) beginning Oct. 30 will feature a different mixology or brew experience in one of the train's bar kiosks with demonstrations of how the specialty cocktails are made. Riders can sample the signature fall cocktails at a discounted price and also receive a souvenir recipe card to recreate the drinks at home.
The ACES Pour Tour features:
- Oct. 30 - OktoberFast
Pour Tour kicks off with ACES' tribute to Oktoberfest: Beer enthusiasts will love sampling autumn ales such as Stoudts Oktoberfest, Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest and Victory Festbier.
- Nov. 6 - Autumn on the Rocks
ACES proves "on the rocks" can be a good thing with signature drinks made using Captain Morgan Spiced Rum and Parrot Bay liquors.
- Nov. 13 - One Sweet Ride
With drinks shaken and stirred with Ciroc, Crown Royal, Godiva Chocolate Liqueur, and more, ACES offers riders a sweet reprieve from a long week.
- Nov. 20 - Good Libations
Riders can treat themselves to drinks such as an ACES Bloody Mary or Arnold Palmer as they unwind on the way to Atlantic City.
