CenterPoint Energy Receives High Ranking in J.D. Power 2009 Customer Satisfaction Study

MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CenterPoint Energy (NYSE: CNP) ranked among the top Midwest Region utilities in the J.D. Power and Associates (J.D. Power) 2009 Residential Gas Utility Customer Satisfaction Study. CenterPoint Energy has ranked among the top Midwest Region utilities for seven of the past eight years the study has been conducted.

Power study is a comprehensive evaluation of customers' attitudes in six different dimensions: corporate citizenship, billing and payment, price and value, communications, customer service and field service. CenterPoint Energy received top scores by customers in the areas of customer service, energy-related rebates and programs and field service.
