Aflex Unveils Revolutionary New Hose Design for the Chemical and Process Industry

SOWERBY BRIDGE, England, November 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Aflex Hose Ltd has today unveiled Corroline, a revolutionary flexible hose developed to stand up to the toughest chemical and process applications.

Designed specifically for use within chemical and process industries, Corroline is built around a patented PTFE hose liner that is smooth bore inside but convoluted outside to generate excellent flexibility.

The reinforced PTFE construction is strong enough to withstand full vacuum and kinking without the need for either internal convolutions or the need to bond the liner to an outer cover.

Engineers have often complained that hoses used are inflexible and too heavy to operate efficiently. Corroline combines the flexibility of a convoluted hose with the chemical and temperature resistance of a PTFE liner.

Chemical processes will be vastly improved according to the manufacturer who states only FDA approved material is present in the hose construction. Excellent flexibility paired with the chemical resistance of PTFE gives Corroline the edge over its competitors.

Aflex Hose believe "it not only supersedes but improves upon the wide variety of alternative hose products currently available" and has conducted tests against competitors products to support its statement.

In conjunction with the release of Corroline, Aflex Hose Ltd has introduced Puretag, the Worlds first fully integrated sanitary hose labelling system. Available in Silicone or EPDM, Puretag's streamline design offers a glue free label encapsulated flush with the external surface of the hose.
