Shiner International, Inc. Selected Keynote Speaker at Prestigious Beijing Food Safety Conference and Expo

HAIKOU, China, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Shiner International, Inc. (Nasdaq: BEST) (website: http://www.shinerinc.com ), a market leader in food safety and anti-counterfeiting packaging, today announced that Mr. Qingtao Xing, President of the Company, will make a keynote presentation at the Third Annual China International Food Safety & Quality Conference + Expo 2009 ("CIFSQ") to be held in Beijing, China from November 4-5.

On June 1, 2009, the Chinese government made a decision to execute stringent supervision over food safety. It is on this platform that the 2009 CIFSQ Conference is being convened. Mr. Xing, along with several renowned officers from the European Economic Community, the World Health Organization, the United States Food and Drug Administration as well as other leading authorities and specialists in food safety will share their experiences and views. Mr. Xing will speak about the important role that packaging materials play in food safety in China as well as the rest of the world.
