Labor and Business Leaders to Testify in Support of Building High Speed - MAGLEV - Transportation System for Pennsylvania at Pennsylvania House Hearings at Carnegie Mellon University on Friday, November 6, 2009

HARRISBURG, Pa., Nov. 5 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Pennsylvania AFL-CIO President Bill George along with a panel of Labor and Business leaders, including United Steelworkers International President Leo Gerard, will testify in support of building a high speed - MAGLEV - transportation system in Pennsylvania. The panel will also include Don Dunlevy, Pennsylvania State Legislative Director and Chairman, United Transportation Union; and John Surma, President of US Steel.
The panel will testify before the Pennsylvania House of Representatives Transportation Committee which will be holding the hearing in Pittsburgh at Carnegie Mellon University, in Room 103, Margaret Morrison Carnegie Hall, 5000 Forbes Avenue on Friday November 6, 2009 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. The Labor and Business panel is scheduled to begin at 10:25 AM.
