NWS President Recognized at Women Who Mean Business Awards

SAN DIEGO, Nov. 30 /PRNewswire/ — Patricia Hartman, President of National Water Services, Inc., was recently honored as one of San Diego County’s “Women Who Mean Business” by the San Diego Business Journal for her achievements in business and community service. The annual award ceremony recognizes dynamic women business leaders and role models for their contributions to business and social causes throughout the San Diego area.

Hartman is the President and majority owner of National Water Services, Inc., a leading provider of water management services for large water consumers who are looking for significant savings through water and energy reduction. She has also served for seven years as the Executive Vice President of EasyTurf, Southern California’s leading provider of synthetic grass landscaping.

Before becoming a successful business woman, Hartman spent over 25 years as a pediatric nurse and nurse practitioner. She has worked in a variety of settings, including Assistant Director of a nursing program where she trained hundreds of students to become excellent nurses.

In addition to her business accomplishments, Hartman is actively involved in several local charitable organizations. She is a member of Social Venture Partners, where she contributes her time, expertise and resources to help nonprofit organizations become more effective and sustainable. She has also volunteered over 1,000 hours with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America Program and still keeps in touch with her Little Sister whom she considers an important part of her family. As an animal lover, she has volunteered more than 700 hours with the San Diego Zoological Society.
