HOUSTON, Dec. 2 /PRNewswire/ — Principal Management Group of Houston employee Anna Osuna spent part of her Thanksgiving helping those in need at the Annual Houston Superfeast on the grounds of the Houston City Hall. The Waste Management sponsored Superfeast was originally created to help the needy and less fortunate. As many as 21,000 people were fed and provided clothing.

Ms. Osuna volunteered at the Superfeast serving lunch, passing out clothes/blankets and simply being a friendly face to those that needed it most. People coming for food, clothing and blankets stood in line for over two blocks at times. There was no threat of running out of food, Waste Management graciously provided enough for everyone to go through the serving line as many times as they wanted.

“I was not prepared for the over powering feeling of sorrow and concern for mankind,” said Anna Osuna. “I knew I was participating in a good thing but I never knew how great it would make me feel to be at service for people who were grateful to receive.”

The Superfeast is an annual event; if you are interested in helping at next year’s event please go to http://www.wmsuperfeast.org/.
