Intwine Connect Launches Industry’s First Consumer Controlled Energy Management Network
CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio, Dec. 22 /PRNewswire/ — Intwine Connect today announced the introduction of the MyIntwine(TM) Personal Energy Network(TM), a consumer controlled, Internet connected ecosystem of retail distributed home energy management devices. Web-based access empowers consumers to manage energy usage with direct monitoring and control of their major energy consuming home products from anywhere at any time. Targeting retail distribution channels, the first energy management devices integrated into the network include a smart thermostat and a whole-house power monitor.
The integration of energy management devices into the MyIntwine Personal Energy Network provides an easy to use, low-cost, unified solution for the control of power consuming devices. As the value of energy management increases in consumers’ minds, users can now collect power consumption information and make educated decisions to manage that consumption. Retailers can now easily build a consumer energy management category using the Intwine Connect products.
