bebe stores, inc. Enters into Licensing Agreement with Accessory Network for Handbags and Small Leather Goods

NEW YORK, Jan. 28 /PRNewswire/ — bebe stores, inc. (Nasdaq: BEBE), announced today that they have entered into a 3-year strategic licensing agreement with Accessory Network Group, LLC “ANG”, to design, manufacture and distribute a full lifestyle offering of handbags and small leather goods to select department & specialty stores worldwide, as well as bebe retail stores and bebe.com. The collection debuts during Accessories Market Week, February 1-5, for a Fall 2010 launch in stores.

The bebe iconic lifestyle collection includes casual, career, and evening designs for the sophisticated, hip, fashion-forward consumer. The Collection incorporates contemporary detailing such as ruching, ruffles, bows and chains. Fashion key items are emphasized in both categories. Crafted of supple, hand-tumbled leathers and non-leathers, as well as novelty denims, tweeds and mixed materials, each handbag and SLG is adorned with signature bebe branded hardware.

Retail pricing of the handbag and SLG collection ranges from $58 – $120, with specialty leathers retailing around $200.
