Meet Liberty Landing Marine Center’s First Mate!

March 15, 2010

JERSEY CITY, N.J., March 15 /PRNewswire/ — It is rumored that Liberty Landing Marine Center’s manager, Liz Mernick, was born on a boat with salt water running through her veins. Some of her earliest memories consist of being on her father’s boat and it is no surprise that her passion for the sea has carried right into her work. Liz has gone from working on the fuel docks and overseeing boat rentals, to managing a West Marine store, and now managing the Liberty Landing Marine Center.

“The most gratifying part of the development of the center is knowing that we will satisfy all of our customers needs,” says Liz. “Whether you are a casual day sailor or the captain of a luxury motor yacht, we have all the supplies you need.”

Liz has played a crucial role in the birth of the center, which she has been a part of since conception. As a knowledgeable boater and manager, her input on products and services is indispensable. Her favorite product in the center is the Zodiac RU-260 dinghy because of its functionality. Liz also describes the center’s location as one of its most important assets, making it one of the few places in the tri-state area that you can dock and shop. Make it a point to stop by and say ahoy to the center’s first mate, Liz, and explore all that the center has to offer!
