MetoKote Corporation Adds Depth to Business Development and Marketing Disciplines
LIMA, Ohio, April 19 /PRNewswire/ — MetoKote Corporation announced today it has hired three business development professionals whose responsibilities will focus on leading global growth in coating equipment and application services within critical business sectors. The company also expanded its marketing ranks to provide strategic direction to its communication and marketing initiatives.
Christoph Goebel, Sales Account Manager
Christoph Goebel has been appointed sales account manager with responsibilities to drive business growth among target customers within Germany. Based in MetoKote’s newest coating facility located in Mannheim, Germany, Mr. Goebel will play an integral role toward increasing the facility’s coating application revenues.
“Christoph comes to MetoKote with nearly 20 years of combined sales and account management experience with leading paint material suppliers including PPG, Rohm and Haas, and Valspar,” stated Paul Kearns, business development director MetoKote Europe. “His deep experience within the German coatings market, and our key industry sectors, makes Christoph an ideal candidate for this position.”
MetoKote’s Mannheim electro-coating (e-coat) complex is scheduled to start production in July, 2010, providing e-coating application services to John Deere.
Kelly Moore, mikroKote(TM) Product Manager
Kelly Moore has joined the company as mikroKote product manager. In this role, Ms. Moore will be responsible for spearheading the international business development and marketing for mikroKote, MetoKote’s newest re-deployable and flexible indexing monorail e-coat system. In addition, she will be in charge of the company’s corporate-level strategic marketing and communication initiatives on a global basis.

Ms. Moore comes from Dana Holding Corporation, a leading supplier of axles; driveshafts; sealing, and thermal-management products. She most recently served as account manager supervising a global sales account valued over $90 million annually. Over her career with Dana, Ms. Moore held positions in marketing, program management, and business development.
Ms. Moore earned her bachelor’s of arts degree from Indiana University – Bloomington and holds a post-graduate diploma from Bowling Green State University. She is also accredited in public relations through the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
Karen Wang, Sales Account Manager
Karen Wang has been appointed, sales account manager, and will be based at the company’s Cambridge, Ontario, facility. Ms. Wang will be responsible for sales to both new and existing customers in the Toronto and surrounding area.
Prior to joining MetoKote, Ms. Wang spent eight years with BASF, one of the world’s leading chemical companies. Seven years were in Canada as sales manager and one year in China as product manager. A highly accomplished sales leader, Ms. Wang was deemed the “Number 1 Business Performance Keeper” for BASF. She also received the “Price Forecast” award for the Asia-Pacific region in 2004 and topped 35 sales and marketing colleagues from 13 countries for achieving record sales valued at $27 million in 2003. Prior to BASF, Ms. Wang spent four years as sales manager for Mitsubishi Corporation Chemical Division.

Ms. Wang holds an undergraduate and master’s degree in Biochemistry from Nanjing University, Nanjing, China. Ms. Wang is also bilingual in English and Mandarin and has working knowledge of Japanese and German.
