Dixie Chopper Selects 4CS iWarranty and iParts Software

May 3, 2010

EAST MOLINE, Ill., May 3 /PRNewswire/ — 4CS, the leading warranty and service lifecycle management software provider, announced today that Dixie Chopper, manufacturer of the world’s fastest lawn mowers, has selected 4CS iWarranty and iParts software to streamline warranty and service parts ordering processes.

Dixie Chopper will implement the 4CS software to be able to automate and validate all the warranty processes, including product registration, notifications of campaign and service bulletins, warranty claims, parts returns and supplier recovery. 4CS iWarranty will enable Dixie Chopper dealers to submit claims and create registrations using a web interface while the data is validated using extensive business rules. Parts returns, inspection data and supplier recovery will be tracked and managed better through the 4CS system. Better reporting will help address the product and vendor issues in a timely fashion.

Parke Lucas, North American Service Manager for Dixie Chopper, is excited about the possibilities.

“Dixie Chopper builds the most productive and reliable mowers in the industry,” Lucas said. “We wanted to provide an easy-to-use system for our dealers to submit warranty claims and parts orders while allowing Dixie Chopper to audit warranty data and capture problems quickly. Today, it is very inefficient and hard to track supplier recovery and compile warranty data. The 4CS solution will enable us to streamline all processes and improve returns tracking, supplier recovery and warranty analysis. The solution capabilities, integration with MS Dynamics and the value we can quickly realize are the important factors in our selection of 4CS software.”

“We are delighted to support Dixie Chopper’s commitment to customer service and quality products,” said Ashok Kartham, 4CS President and CEO. “Dixie Chopper will benefit from our proven warranty lifecycle management solution for the industry to save warranty costs, increase service parts sales and improve service to their dealers and customers.”

“iWarranty and iParts software addresses the service business needs of the outdoor power equipment industry very well,” added Sarah Studnicka, 4CS Account Manager. “We are proud to have Dixie Chopper as our customer. 4CS software meets Dixie Chopper’s business needs out-of-the-box, leading to a faster implementation.”
