Allegiant Announces New, Nonstop Air Service Between Fort Collins-Loveland and Phoenix-Mesa With Introductory $29.99* Fares

LOVELAND, Colo., Aug. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Allegiant Travel Company (Nasdaq: ALGT) and its subsidiary low-cost airline, Allegiant Air, LLC, today announced new, nonstop jet service between Phoenix-Mesa, Ariz., and Fort Collins-Loveland, Colo., will begin October 8. The low-cost carrier, known for its exceptional travel deals, will introduce the new service to Fort Collins-Loveland residents with fares as low as $29.99* one-way.

The new flights will operate two times weekly between Fort Collins-Loveland Municipal Airport (FNL) and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (IWA) with service Monday and Friday. Flights will depart Fort Collins-Loveland at 11:10 a.m. arriving in Phoenix-Mesa at 12:05 p.m. Flights leaving Phoenix-Mesa will depart at 7:40 a.m. arriving in Fort Collins-Loveland at 10:30 a.m. (all flight times are local).

The airline commented market research and input from local community leaders indicate the Fort Collins-Loveland community will welcome the new nonstop flights and low fares to Phoenix-Mesa. Allegiant will utilize 150-seat, MD-80 series, jet-aircraft on the route. Allegiant Air began nonstop service to Las Vegas July 31, 2003.

Allegiant’s $29.99* one-way introductory fare is limited, must be purchased by Sept. 1, 2010, and is valid for travel between Oct. 8, 2010, through Jan. 31, 2011. Introductory fares are not available on all flights. After the introductory fare period, regular one-way fares on the route start as low as $49.99 one-way.
