Crown Holdings, Inc. Completes Acquisition of Partner’s Interest in Chinese and Vietnamese Joint Ventures

PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Crown Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CCK) today announced that it has completed its previously announced acquisition, from affiliates of Swire Pacific Limited, their interests in the holding companies for Crown’s Chinese and Vietnamese joint ventures. The interests were acquired for an aggregate purchase price of $150 million and the holding companies are now wholly-owned subsidiaries of Crown.

Crown, through its subsidiaries, is a leading supplier of packaging products to consumer marketing companies around the world. World headquarters are located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
