Hunt Oil Company Signs Multi-Year Deal With ADP for Procure-to-Pay Solution
ROSELAND, N.J., Nov. 8, 2010 /PRNewswire/ — ADP ®, a leading provider of outsourced HR, payroll and benefits administration services and a global leader in procure-to-pay solutions, today announced that Hunt Oil Company has selected ADP’s Procure-to-Pay Solutions platform to automate its procurement and accounts payable processes.
Hunt Oil Company, a privately held exploration and production company with operations in the United States, Canada, the Middle East, South America and other countries, has successfully conducted petroleum operations for 75 years and is one of the world’s leading independent energy companies.
Hunt Oil conducted a thorough evaluation of major procure-to-pay platform providers and selected ADP’s Procure-to-Pay Solution as its corporate-wide solution, which will include full electronic invoicing, coding and approval workflow. Hunt Oil uses the SAP® ERP system, and ADP’s proven integration with SAP was a key factor in Hunt Oil’s selection decision.
“After evaluating the major solution providers, it was clear that ADP had the strong procure-to-pay functionality and reputation for service we were looking for,” said Bruce Cope, Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Hunt Oil. “ADP has an extensive supplier network, which was an important factor in our decision and will certainly shorten our implementation time.”
ADP’s Procure-to-Pay Solution is a web-based, SaaS (Software as a Service) platform which enables rapid deployment of an electronic payables solution at a lower cost. Buyers and suppliers utilize the collaborative platform to electronically conduct the full spectrum of procure-to-pay transactions-sending, receiving, coding, and adjudicating purchase orders, receipts and invoices. In addition, users enjoy automated price reconciliation, early payment discount management, 3-way and 4-way matching, plus robust spend capture and analysis.
“Hunt Oil is a company with a long history of growth and a strong reputation in fiscal management,” said Leon Busch, General Manager of ADP’s Procure-to-Pay Solutions. “As Hunt Oil continues to grow, ADP is pleased to provide our procure-to pay service offering as a value-added contribution to the company’s strategic efforts to achieve higher productivity and enhanced cost containment.”
