American Standard Brands, a Leader in Water Conservation Technology, Education and Community Support

A privately-held manufacturer of North American plumbing brands, American Standard has invested heavily in both innovative technology and education to encourage water conservation.

Earlier this year, the company made a $1 million commitment to The Nature Conservancy to increase awareness of how consumers can conserve water every day. The www.responsiblebathroom.com and accompanying Responsible Bathroom mobile tour visited millions of green building influencers, as well as consumers. American Standard also donated more than $100,000 worth of high efficiency plumbing products to schools and other public buildings throughout New Jersey as part of the N.J. Water Savers “Water Champions” pilot program.

“We are pleased to have participated in these programs this year, further demonstrating American Standard’s leadership in water efficiency solutions and education,” says Devine. “Few people realize that top performing water-saving plumbing fixtures not only save money for homeowners, but also decrease water treatment volumes and costs, while reducing the strain on our environment.

“Together, the individual water conservation efforts of each person can have a tremendous impact on preserving fresh water for future generations,” concludes Devine.
