N-Viro International Corporation Executives in Tel Aviv Meeting with Israel Electric Corporation (IEC)
TOLEDO, Ohio, April 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — N-Viro International Corporation (OTCQB: NVIC) executives held meetings in Tel Aviv, Israel with officials from the Israel Electric Corporation (IEC). The IEC is one of the largest industrial companies in Israel, owning and operating an extensive nationwide power distribution network. The electric utility company has announced plans to generate an additional several thousand megawatts to meet future electricity demand. N-Viro International Corporation currently has a facility presence in Israel and officials are interested in the N-Viro Fuel(TM) technology to help meet future electricity demand. The development of N-Viro Fuel(TM) will be a collaborative effort between N-Viro International Corporation and Dan-Viro. Dan-Viro is an Israeli company owned by CRM Military and Civilian Technologies, Global Environmental Solutions (GES), a branch of Granite Carmel in the Azrieli Group, Shtang Construction & Engineering, MID Company, and Waxman Govrin Engineering.
In addition to ongoing meetings, executives from N-Viro International Corporation toured the newly commissioned Dan-Viro facility in Rishon Lezion, Israel. A Jerusalem Post reporter covered the event in a Wednesday, April 13, 2011 article available on the Company blog site at http://nvirointernational.wordpress.com or by visiting the N-Viro International Facebook page. http://www.facebook.com/nviro?v=wall&ref=ts
Currently the Dan-Viro facility is processing Dan Region Water Authority biosolids using the patented N-Viro technology. The N-Viro Soil(TM) product is designated for agriculture fields and urban reclamation projects. N-Viro technology has provided an environmentally friendly and superior solution to wastewater residual disposal in Israel. N-Viro’s conversion technology is performing well and officials are considering expansion of the facility to include the N-Viro Fuel(TM) technology.
Dr. Terry J. Logan, chief inventor and advocate of the N-Viro process who helped initiate the Israeli project had these comments, “It is very positive to see this project come to fruition. The Dan Region Water Authority has worked tirelessly for many years to eliminate the disposal of wastewater solids in the Mediterranean and to instead recycle this valuable organic resource. Installation of the N-Viro process has greatly aided in making this important step.”
President and CEO, Timothy R. Kasmoch added his comments about the meetings in Israel, “We see a business opportunity for the use of N-Viro Fuel(TM) in the existing infrastructure. Most of the base load electricity in Israel is generated using coal. N-Viro’s biomass-derived fuel product is a perfect fit for biomass co-firing scenarios in the United States and international applications.”

These forward-looking statements and the matters to which they refer are subject to considerable uncertainty that may cause actual results to differ materially from those described herein. For example, while the Company expects business expansion projects to begin in an estimated time frame, such expectations are subject to adverse economic conditions and other factors outside of the Company’s control. The Company’s ability to achieve profitability of these projects could be negatively impacted if there is a lack of an adequate supply of waste or expenses increase above the Company’s expectations – including fuel and transportation costs, labor costs and costs relating to the treatment and processing of the biosolids and creation of the N-Viro Soil or N-Viro Fuel. In addition, while the Company believes that trends in “greener” energy solutions are moving in favor of the Company’s technology, such trends may not continue or may never result in increased sales or profits to the Company because of the availability of competing products and other alternative energy source. All of these factors, and other factors, will affect the profitability of the Company.
