Crystal Device Manufacturer Receives MIL-PRF-38534 Class H Certification
MIDDLETON, Wis., April 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Precision Devices Incorporated (PDI), a leading quartz crystal device manufacturer and member of the Avrio Technology Group, LLC team of companies, announced that it has achieved Class H certification, the standard military quality level for reliability designated by MIL-PRF-38534. The Defense Supply Center, Columbus (DSCC) awarded the certification following an extensive audit of testing flows performed by PDI on crystal frequency control devices.
The inspections proved that PDI is a crystal device manufacturer whose products and processes can withstand the severe environmental stresses of operating in space over long periods of time, including enduring the temperature range of -55 degrees Celsius to +125 degrees Celsius.
