Renowned TV Show Builders, West Coast Customs, Team Up With Country Music Super Stars, Rascal Flatts, In Their Season Finale of Inside West Coast Customs
CORONA, Calif., April 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — West Coast Customs (WCC) premiers their new show on Discovery’s HD Theater, Inside West Coast Customs, April 17, 2011, at 9 p.m. EDT. Inside West Coast Customs is the next exciting show featuring WCC’s outrageous builds. WCC is unveiling their latest creation, the “Red Camaro.” The custom-built Camaro is an interpretation of the song “Red Camaro” by Rascal Flatts and Big Machine Records on their latest album, “Nothing Like This.”
“I was approached by Rascal Flatts’ management on a business trip in the airport. They mentioned how the guys were fans of ours and asked if we were interested in building them a car for the release of their new album,” said Ryan Friedlinghaus, CEO of West Coast Customs. “The car will have a lot of personal influences from the Flatts, as they were excited to work on the concept and design of the Camaro. The car features a custom red paint job and handcrafted factory-style T-tops, 22-inch HRE wheels wrapped in Continental tires and three exhaust tips representing each member of the band. Pedders suspension, Baer brakes and a Harrop super charger will give the guys the performance and stopping power they need. We kept the interior country, with black leather and suede, red stitching and hand-crafted Swarovski crystal and Rascal Flatts emblems created by Crystal Ninja. For the sound system, we installed the new line of Diamond West Coast Customs audio.”
Friedlinghaus and his shop have been doing exclusive custom builds for the MTV show Pimp my Ride, TLC’s Street Customs, Street Customs Berlin and now on his new show on Discovery’s HD Theater, Inside West Coast Customs. The WCC crew is world-renowned for their extreme vehicles, outrageous features and unique designs.
Check out Inside West Coast Customs, Sunday at 9 p.m. EDT on Discovery Channel’s HD Theater, and on Fridays at 11 a.m. EDT on Discovery Channel.
