Auri, Inc. Signs Licensing Agreement With LiquiCell® Technologies

April 27, 2011

LAGUNA BEACH, Calif., April 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Auri, Inc. (OTCBB: AURI) announced today that the Company has signed a licensing agreement with LiquiCell® to integrate their innovative technology into most of the designs in the Auri Fall 2011 women’s fashion footwear collections. LiquiCell® is developing custom configurations of their technology specifically for Auri fashion footwear designs.

LiquiCell is an advanced technology that protects skin tissues from being stretched and torn. By equalizing perpendicular pressure at specific points of contact (thus reducing pressure), soft tissue compression is greatly reduced, significantly reducing skin friction and soft tissue shear stress. Medical and scientific evidence proves that while gels, foams and air do provide some relief of discomfort through perpendicular pressure reduction, they do not protect against the harmful effects of friction and shear stress, two of the most influential factors related to foot discomfort. Designed as an ultra-thin cell, which innovatively combines a low viscosity fluid and strategically placed seal points that control the flow of this fluid, LiquiCell literally allows the feet to float with the shoe at critical points of contact or stress points. What this means is greater daylong comfort due to fewer hot spots, less foot friction and fatigue. LiquiCell is clinically tested comfort for your feet.

“We seek to partner with leading and innovative companies and brands in the various markets we work in. It is for this reason that we were immediately drawn to Auri Footwear. We’ve understood that the consumer (and women in particular) seeks design first and foremost in making their footwear purchasing decision, but why not offer them comfort as well. LiquiCell is uniquely designed to offer such, and Auri Footwear has been at the forefront in making this a reality for the consumer. We are excited to be a part of their product offering,” stated Mike Arbeiter, LiquiCell.

“This is a very exciting agreement for us,” stated Ori Rosenbaum, CEO of Auri. “This technology goes hand in hand with Auri’s brand mantra of high fashion being fused seamlessly with high technology. This is another advanced technology integrated in our overall product offering making high heels far more enjoyable to wear, especially for longer periods of time.”
