Air Commodore Garry Porter, Former Assistant Director Transformation, NATO Joint Air Power Competence Centre to Chair 9th Annual Military Satellites

Air Commodore Garry Porter is to chair the 9th Annual Military
Satellites (http://www.milsatellites.com) conference being held in
London on 12th-14th July 2011.

latest developments in military space, with in depth and detailed focus on
the following areas:

        - Space Situational Awareness, with double briefings from the
          German MoD and German Aerospace Centre that will provide in depth
          analysis of German SSA capability and technology
        - Assured access to space, the establishment of global norms and
          the potential implications of the emergence of new space nations
          including examination of the UK aspect of Multi-National Experiment 7
        - US space policy with briefings from Air Force Space Command and
          PEO Space Systems on the Space Fence and capability requirements for the
          future of a military space
        - Programme updates from the French Space Command, Nigerian Space
          Agency, Israeli Air Force, Norwegian Defence Research Establishment and
          the Italian MoD
