328 new Nova LFS Artic buses for MTA New York City Transit

Nova Bus has secured an order for 328 articulated buses for MTA New York
City Transit (NYC Transit). The 62-ft vehicles will be assembled in
Nova Bus’ Upstate New York plant.

Following the successful introduction of a 90-vehicle test fleet in
2009-2010, this contract will enable Nova Bus to continue its growth in
North America.  Nova Bus’ presence in the North Country has led to the
creation of more than 200 direct jobs and has brought five suppliers to
establish facilities in the area.

Committed to local investment, Nova Bus will provide between 38% and 40%
of NY State content for each transit bus built for NYC Transit,
excluding its in-house assembly work. The articulated buses are set to
be delivered from August 2011 to April 2013.
