EdeniQ Names Steve Rust as Vice President of Sales and Marketing
VISALIA, Calif., Aug. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- EdeniQ, Inc., a California-based clean technology company serving the global biofuels industry, announced today its appointment of Steve Rust as the company's Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Rust was most recently the Director of Marketing at Fremont Industries, where he worked closely with sales to increase Fremont's market share of water treatment solutions for ethanol producers, along with introducing Fremont's corn oil recovery product into the market. Steve was formerly with ICM in a business development role that focused on promoting the ethanol industry, including starting up the Ethanol Promotion Council (EPIC) as Director of Industry Relations, managing the Team Ethanol Indy Car sponsorship in the Indy Racing League and implementing the first blender pump in the state of Kansas.
"Steve's work with ethanol producers over the past eight years along with his ability to market and sell complex and specialized solutions that benefit the customer makes him ideally suited to help EdeniQ. Steve will not only greatly contribute to our commercial sales into ethanol plants, but also clearly communicate to the industry EdeniQ's suite of biofuels optimization tools and how they are game changing to the US and Brazil ethanol industry," said Brian Thome, CEO and President of EdeniQ.
The addition of Rust to the EdeniQ team allows Richard Root Woods to focus on expanding EdeniQ's product lines in the role of VP of Commercial Development. He will lead EdeniQ's efforts to transition several new technologies, validated by their R&D team, into commercial products through testing and trials designed to validate product characteristics in commercial plants and under commercial scale environments. "Root's contributions to commercialization of our Cellunator units has allowed EdeniQ to showcase its best-in-class particle sizing solution providing substantial yield increases to today's corn ethanol plants," Thome continued. "Woods' additional work on our Oil Plus corn oil extraction product line has allowed plants to produce consistently high corn oil yields while utilizing EdeniQ's patent pending corn oil extraction process."
EdeniQ develops and delivers proprietary, cutting-edge solutions for the global biofuels industry. Its solutions help biofuel producers reduce operating costs, increase profits and improve environmental results. EdeniQ is commercializing its first suite of technologies for both the corn and sugar cane ethanol industry and validating in its pilot plant a wider range of pretreatment, enzymatic and advanced process technologies.
