Energy Prices Up Ahead of Supply Report

Energy prices rose modestly Thursday as traders anticipated bad news from the U.S. government on oil supplies.
A barrel of high-quality crude oil for November delivery gained 32 cents on the New York Mercantile Exchange to $65.39.
October unleaded gasoline prices were up 1.1 percent at $2.1895 a gallon, and heating oil futures rose 0.5 percent at $2.078 a gallon.
Natural gas fell 0.4 percent to $12.61 per million Btu.
