Apple Unveiling Sparks Rumor of Video iPod

Fans of Apple Computer Co.'s gadgets waited Wednesday for the California company to reveal what many believe is a video iPod.
Apple, which just reported fiscal fourth-quarter profit up fourfold on surging sales of iPod music players and Macintosh personal computers, planned a globally broadcast unveiling Wednesday at 10 a.m. PDT, of its latest electronic product.
Rumors circulated that it will be a video iPod with 60 gigabyte capacity and playback functionality that is slimmer than Apple's current 60GB iPod photo player.
It apparently has a smaller click wheel than the iPod nano, making room for a high resolution color screen, the Telegraph said.
There is also speculation that Apple's iTunes will be updated with music videos and short video clips for customers to download.
