Most energy prices on the world’s biggest futures market rose Monday, but natural gas picked up value.

High-quality crude oil for January delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange tumbled 81 cents to $57.90 per 42-gallon barrel.

Gasoline for December delivery eased to $1.442 per gallon, and December heating oil declined about 3 cents to $1.663 per gallon.

Natural gas, however, rose about 1 cent to $11.701 per million Btu.
