Forecast of Demand for Oil in 2006

A-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper quoted a notice published in mid- December 2005 by OPEC announcing a forecast of the worldwide demand for oil during 2006
. The daily oil demand from OPEC countries is estimated to reach 28 million barrels in 2006, compared to 134,000 barrels in accordance with previous estimations. Also announced was a forecast that the daily demand for oil will increase by 1.9%, to 1.6 million barrels.Source: Info-Prod Research (Middle East)
