EPOD Announces Solar Power Sale, California Energy Commission Approval

EPOD International Inc. (the "Company", "EPOD") (OTC BB: EPOI) (Frankfurt: EDU), announces the California Energy Commission has endorsed the Company's first solar power system sale in California.

The solar power system sale, valued at US$230,000, recently received approval from the California Energy Commission ("CEC") as a qualified renewable energy power generation system. The approval of EPOD's advanced solar power system by the CEC provides the San Diego county industrial customer with a cash contribution of US$147,931.40 from the CEC's Renewable Energy Program, a state-funded initiative intended to promote the implementation and use of renewable energy. This approval of EPOD's solar power systems is the first of many such approvals expected during 2006 and significantly increases the Company's opportunities to proliferate its solar power technology in the State of California.

"Having the State approve our systems for customer funding support opens the door for us to complete far more sales than without," commented Mark Roseborough, EPOD president. "The degree of financial support the CEC appears willing to provide our customers makes our solar power systems even more attractive to the end user," added Roseborough.

Installation of the system is projected to begin in February, 2006.
