Flight attendants of Houston-based Continental Airlines have approved a concessionary contract offer.
The airline said Monday District 142 of the International Association of Machinists has informed Continental that it will certify the results and issue an official statement Tuesday.
Continental and the flight attendants' union leadership reached an agreement last month for a new contract containing the concessions totaling about $72 million, the Houston Chronicle said. Pilots, mechanics and other workers approved wage and benefit concessions last year.
