February 22, 2006
Air France-KLM Group said it planned to offer weekly services to Chengdu, China, the airline’s fifth destination in China, in its summer 2006 schedule.
The KLM division will fly to Chengdu twice a week from its Amsterdam hub, Air France said Monday. The airline also said it would add a second flight daily to both Hong Kong and Shanghai, providing 47 flights a week to China from Paris in the summer schedule. Delta Air Lines, an Air France partner in the SkyTeam alliance, will suspend three of four daily flights between Paris and Atlanta and one flight between Paris and New York, Air France said.
