Posted on: Thursday, 9 March 2006, 18:00 CST
ORLANDO, Fla., March 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Holdings, Inc. , announced today that the amounts reported in the audited financial statements for 2005 included in Form 10-K differ from those previously reported in its press release filed on a Form 8-K dated January 27, 2006, principally due to changes in estimates as a result of information which became available to management subsequent to the date of the press release. The effect of these adjustments on a net of tax basis reduces the previously reported preliminary fourth quarter and full year 2005 results by approximately $1.0 million or $0.01 per fully diluted share.
