MINNEAPOLIS - Northwest Airlines planned to resume daily nonstop service between the Twin Cities and London on Friday, the airline announced.
Flight 44 was scheduled to leave Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport at 6:45 p.m. and arrive at London's Gatwick Airport at 8:55 a.m. Saturday.
The first return flight from London to the Twin Cities was slated to leave London at 12:05 p.m. Saturday and scheduled to arrive in the Twin Cities at 3:05 p.m. Saturday.
The service had been suspended temporarily since Oct. 30 for the lower-demand winter season due to high fuel costs. Northwest said it planned to offer service between the Twin Cities and London all year.
