U.S. airlines to operate direct flights between U.S., Ghana
NAIROBI, March 17 (Xinhua) -- North American Airlines, a subsidiary of World Air Holdings, Inc. will begin on April 14 non- stop flights between New York's JFK International Airport and the Kotoka International Airport in Accra twice a week, Ghana News Agency reported Friday.
The flights are scheduled to depart from JFK 1500 hours on Saturdays and Wednesdays and arrive in Accra at 0530 hours on Sundays and Thursdays respectively.
The departure time from Kotoka International Airport is scheduled at 1130 hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays respectively and arrival time at JFK is scheduled to be at 1830 hours the same day.
North American is a U.S.-certificated air carrier, offering air transportation services throughout the world for the U.S. military and commercial customers.
